Police Community Relations C’mittee, Bori Division Commends DPO …Wants Two Additional Stations

The Police Community Relations Committee, Bori Division has lauded the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in-charge of Bori Police Division, Mr Ijeoma Princewill over what they described as his commitment to duty and humanitarian services.  The chairman of PCRC, Bori Division, Sir F. K. Puene made this known at the committee’s meeting recently in Bori. The chairman, who applauded the Police Officer for his timely interventions in community crises for the security of lives and property in the Area, said this is an indication that the Police Officer is bent on discharging his duties without giving room for undue influences from individuals or groups.

Also speaking, the General Secretary of PCRC Bori Division, Evang Tordee E. Pyaneedam praised the DPO, Mr Ijeoma Princewill for the tremendous renovation of the Bori Police Station. The Secretary  explained that after their May general meeting, some executive members of the body were conducted round the Police building by the DPO to see the work done.

According to the Secretary, they were overwhelmed with joy to see that all the old doors and windows had been changed with the modern foreign virony doors with protectors both at the ground floor and the upper building. HURAC is a club instituted by the Movement For the Survival of the Ogoni People, which is open to all secondary schools within and outside Ogoni and also to all intending members.
