HURAC to Resume Activities Soon.

Good day everyone,

71980_456095241127159_966351361_nHURAC has concluded plans to resume activity on its ”news website” and on other social media from the week beginning 10th June, 2013. We will be back again to update you with recent news and happenings within and outside Ogoni, the Niger Delta and the world at large. It will be recalled that we halted activity on our sites on April 18th, 2013. But the good news is that we are back now! We appreciate all those who contacted us by means of messages and posts on our wall during the period we have been away, especially Barr. Adubabari Mankie-tanen who has always kept our profile on facebook updated with news and posts.
We are working to upgrade all our sites with new features to improve our sites’ user experience, and to undertake series of projects over the summer. One particular project to be done this summer is creating an online repository where all Ogoni music and songs could be found. We invite supporters to join us for the completion of the proposed project. Your feedback and suggestions would be highly appreciated on how we could improve our services.
Also, we will be recruiting a new batch of HURAC WRITERS AND EDITORS’ TEAM this June and urge you to form a part of this team for the 2013/2014 publishing year. Online applications for these positions are currently being worked on, and we hope to inform you when applications would be invited. We are at this moment THANKFUL to those of you who formed the first batch of this team, and we encourage you to reapply. Many thanks to all our fans for your patience all this while, and a big THANK YOU to Ogoninews.com who has been there to cover up in our absence. At the moment, you are welcome to browse through our site at http://huraclub.org/.

Thank you!

This message is brought to you from the office of
