MOSOP Holds Election, Group Calls For Massive Participation

The Save Our Ogoni Project has encouraged all eligible Ogoni sons and daughters to actively participate in the forthcoming elections of the Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni People.

The MOSOP election is expected to commence this August in all chapters, kingdoms and will culminate in the election of national officers in November.

Aalo said in his statement: “We urge every Ogoni to participate actively in the forthcoming elections to elect new officers into the leadership of MOSOP.

“We must not allow personal interest to supersede the collective interest of the people and the struggle of our Ogoni heroes who lay down their lives for the Ogoni survival.
“Let us all ensure that we keep the Ogoni flag flying.”

HURAC is a club instituted by the Movement For the Survival of the Ogoni People, which is open to all secondary schools within and outside Ogoni and also to all intending members. It`s currently operating in Riv-Poly secondary school, its division HQTRS, and also in CSS Bori, ACGS Bori, BMGS Bori and some Portharcourt schools.
