In one of his email communications with Ogoni/Niger Delta News Team, he stated that he wishes to implore others to imbibe the exemplary life of Ken Saro-Wiwa to help change the world we live in.

In his music, he describes Ken Saro-Wiwa as a ”Blackcotton”, which, according to him, means ”an unrewarded struggler”  He further stated that he has emphasised on Ken Saro-Wiwa as he (Josh) regards him (Saro-Wiwa) as his mentor,  and for the fact that he admires Ken’s ”courage and hunger for freedom from social injustice”

Josh has worked with other of his colleagues, including Ray who also featured in BackCotton, and whose relentless effort significantly contributed to the success of the song ”BlackCotton”.  Josh finally added that he dedicates ”this piece of art to the whole people of Ogoni, Niger Delta, Nigeria, Africa and the rest of the world.  We’ve indeed lost our SUN”.
