Dear HURAC friend,
HURAC would love to use this medium to wish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year in advance. It has been a great year with lots of experience, both good and bad, but one thing has been clear: God has been so faithful to us. HURAC appreciates all your supports all this while; for being a fan to us on facebook, commenting on, and liking our facebook posts. Our THANK YOU message also goes to the group that lectures our student members on their fundamental human rights on Thursdays and Fridays. The management and staff here at HURAC are indeed grateful for the contributions you have made to the development and growth of our great club. We would love to share our 2013 year in review with you as we plan ahead of 2014.
Below is a summary of our 2013 YEAR IN REVIEW:
- Expanding the club to most of the schools in Ogoni, and an increase in our members during the year.
- Our website analytics grew tremendously with more than 100% over last year’s.
- In addition to our present facebook accounts, we also added a new one that sends newsfeed from our website to our facebook fans in order to keep them updated on recent happenings in Ogoni, the Niger Delta and the world at large.
- We employed 15 volunteers to work with us in the disposition of our duties to our fans.
- Below is a further breakdown of our growth rate and changes in our membership over the year:
The above analytics data indicates that we recorded the highest growth rate in 2013 ever with number of unique visitors to our site growing over 400% over last year.
We are hoping to do even more in 2014. You are welcome to always join us to achieve our aim and make a better Ogoni/Niger Delta. Our 5th Anniversary comes up on the 16th january 2014, we would appreciate if you can join us to celebrate it. And don’t forget, we love changes and are always happy to receive feedbacks, suggestions and advice from the public. Please send yours to enquiry@huraclub.org.
