If I can turn the hands of the clock, I would have paid attention to every words from late Kenule saro Wiwa and the others.
If I had my way I would had sat under them to learn more of the future of the Ogonis.
If I knew them a little better, I would had known who is on the Ogoni side on this political games now, before they start.
If I had a fresh start with them,I would have known how to gather bread for me and my brothers from other Ogoni kindred.
A time when the wisest lived among us, taught us and guided us. A time when youths
appreciates their elders, while elders tailored the way for development and
empowerment for the younger generation.
Yes I can’t turn the hands of time,but if I can set my mind back on events of the
past, articles, books and what we stand for, as a group of people,
I know the future will be brighter and clearer for the Ogonis all over the
globe.wisdom will be our tutor, understanding will be our cook and knowledge will be our driver.
Yes we miss our Heroes as you may say. But I miss my Legends, that have created a
path for my life ,living me a trail to follow.
Ogoni definitely , will survive.
