Matthew Omagar however expressed regret that Nigerians have not utilized the freedom of information act as a tool to fight corruption in the country. Speaking on the issued of agitation for derivation he said the issued of derivation in the Niger Delta have been for a very long time, “ we elected by the people and we have rights to make finding and input in the multi Billion excess crude oil funds according to him Nigerians should take opportunity in the IOB Act as a tool investigate who have looted the country through the excess crude oil funds, we are living tin this country we know how much crude oil have been sold in the country over the years. “It is your right to asked question on how the leaders siphoned the money that belong to Nigerians and find out the source were the money where invested.”
Mr. Matthew Omagari who speak on the budget said the executive arms of the Government have proposed what the budget should be and the house will decide what it should be because we are representing our people in the house, he said are the executives appointed ministries, stressing t5hat the budget have been passed into law.
