HURAC Releases Ogoni/Niger Delta News’ 2012 Year In Review, Congratulates Fans

The Human Rights Activists Club (HURAC) has released her website analytical report for Ogoni/Niger Delta News for the 2012 year.  It will be recalled that Ogoni/Niger Delta News was launched on July 23rd, 2012 and has since been receiving visitors from around the globe.   HURAC is a growing student-led club operational in most of the secondary schools in Bori-Ogoni.  It aims at educating and creating awareness amongst secondary school students on their fundamental human rights, and how they (rights) could be defended.  The club was formerly launched in Rivers State Polytechnic, Comprehensive Secondary School Bori, on January 16, 2009 by the MOSOP President elect, Mr Legborsi, Saro-Pyagbara during the Ledum Mitee-led administration.  Today- as promised by the club International Representative, Mr Kate, Wisdom Deebeke – the club has grown so big, that almost everybody from Ogoni (and non-Ogonis) is aware of its presence and has diversified its roles to bringing Ogonis home and abroad, current news and happenings within and outside Ogoni.

BACK TO THE STATISTICAL REPORT:

Based on the site analytic released by the website host, 40 different countries had accessed the site in 2012 with most visitors emanating from the United Kingdom, which is not a big surprise as the site is being managed from the UK.  In a similar report released by HURAC in December 2012, the site had 21,629 visits, 483,525 hits, with 8,166 unique visitors with most of the visits coming from the United States followed by the United Kingdom and Nigeria being the 5th.  Judging from these two statistical reports, one can conclude that between December 24th 2012 and December 31, 2012, visitors coming from the UK had increased in number which brought UK to the top and US, which was at the top by December 24th, to the second place at the end of 2012.
