Built in five strong forests
Protected and guided by good spirits
A city modeled like every new and modern city
In the whole wide world
Your citizens were gifted farmers, fishing people,
And great hunters, artisans and travelers
Baen, with modern court systems, schools, restaurants and hotels
I imagine you with lines of catering Rest houses, work ministries
Modern supermarkets, schools, banks, financial houses, and churches
Long tarred black road
Disappearing into our skylines
Like perspective in an excellent landscape painting
That link one to the outside world
I am from your roots and your
Royal linage equipped to guide, protect, rule and defend our ecology
We are determined to protect, direct and develop
Citizens of your new, viable and enviable city
Full of bountiful yams, coco yams and cassava
During the rainy season we welcome the singing of the frogs
In a chorus at zorlaghanwi, zortoro, kiabara
As a traditional medicine man
You travailed endless miles of pristine forests
Looking for herbs and other barks and roots before you ended up here
To cure the ailments
That were rampant at the time of old in Baen and beyond
Many citizens of this new town were cured
And even beyond
To far away Opuoko in Nyokhana
Across the River Luubara
That borders Baen to the north.
Where you put your initial habitat
And continue your work of curing and administering our own people
With your famous herbs, barks and roots
Which eliminated all diseases that were prevalent in our land
This make you famous and earns you the ‘Gbene’ title
As one of the most famous medicine men
At your pristine period.
